HISTORICALLY EXCLUSIVE FOR gentry with exclusive or privileged access to natures unique and richest water, but now thankfully accessible to all.
In the UK, Game fish are regarded for their eating qualities, but environmental pressure to their habitat has prompted an almost compulsory shift to ‘Catch & Release’ practices on naturally occurring populations.
We can provide guided instruction for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Grayling fishing on catch and release basis, as well as the opportunity to ‘take’ stocked Brown Trout on certain rivers, and Rainbow Trout from a wide variety of still-water lakes and reservoirs.
The appeal for fly fishing is varied, but there are occasions when attempting to catch these species by other methods is just as challenging and more appropriate.
We also offer guided Fly Fishing for the rapidly growing interest in predatory coarse and sea fish species, from kayak or shore.
Fly fishing is no better or worse than other disciplines of angling – it essentially offers a different set of challenges and rewards for an angler to consider. We can provide casting advice and coaching, tackle advice, fly tying practice, fly choice, retrieve techniques, and lessons on ecology of insect prey (entomology).
