Charles has a keen interest in sustainability, ecology and environmental sciences which are central to all forms of angling. A fascination in the biodiversity of fish species led him to become an experienced all-round angler and he now provides angling education and coaching services to adults and young people on a full time basis.

He believes strongly in participant centred coaching and is currently training to be a coach educator for the Angling Development Board.

Level 3 UK Certificate in Sports Practice (2009)

BSc Environmental Science with honours (2008)
